we got rear-ended yesterday evening, on our way to james’.

i didn’t realize what had happened at first, until i realized blayne was pulling over to the shoulder of the road, and a car was following us to the side. i was fairly stunned, and tears welled up in my eyes. my hands shook a little bit as i grabbed my phone and sent james a text message. by the time james called me back, a minute or two later, i had mostly regained my composure, though i could barely talk (i lost my voice for the majority of the day yesterday, due to being sick).

whereas car accidents make me sad (and hurt my neck), my husband just saw dollar signs. the car is drivable, though he is hoping that it is totaled. i think we’ll find out saturday.
i will try and post some photos later of the car.

rear-ended
