the pretty things are going to hell

i’ve never shopped at whole foods. rather, i’d go to new seasons, which is about only a mile or so away from me. i love that store - they even deliver! between that and the produce i have delivered bi-weekly, that makes up the majority of my grocery shopping. i pick meat for the cats and some other small items at other stores when need be.

and now i’m rather irate at whole foods. new seasons has been ordered to hand over confidential information to whole foods. why? whole foods is embattled in a lawsuit claiming it is a monopoly after buying out wild outs. desperate to prove it is not,

Whole Foods management has said it needs the information from the subpoenas to show that competition is alive and well in its grocery category – premium natural organic supermarkets.

new seasons and 92 others were subpoenad. only 50 have responded… i do hope the others fight it in court, and win. there is no good reason to give whole foods the information it wants.

no christmas tree this year, as mulder had decided fake trees are om nom nom… as are christmas lights.
